# Create QR codes

QR codes can be created using 2 methods.

1. [Via the aCheck API](/help/guides/create-qr-codes/api-documentation/create-a-qr-code.md)
2. [Manually using the **Make a QR code** button](/help/guides/create-qr-codes/manually-create-a-qr-code.md)

Both methods produce a QR code and accompanying web page. The API method differs in that it has more error handling actions
