# Get started

## Introduction

We recommend new aCheck users work through the Get Started guide.

1. Start with signing up and logging in described bellow
2. [Create a Schema](/help/guides/creating-a-schema.md)
3. [Create some QR codes](/help/guides/create-qr-codes.md)

## Sign up for an account

Visit out website <https://acheck.co.uk/> and click the **Get started** button and you'll be taken to the aCheck's log-in page.

Click the **Sign up** button at the top of the log in page

Fill in the sign up form. You need to enter your password twice so we can double check it.&#x20;

&#x20;aCheck will send you a confirmation email. Click the link in the email to confirm you wish to create an account.

Congratulations. You can now log in to aCheck

## Log in

To log in, you must first [sign up for an aCheck account](#sign-up-for-a-free-account).

Visit the aCheck website [https://acheck.co.uk](https://acheck.co.uk/). Click the **Log in** button & you'll be taken to aCheck's log in page.

Click the **Log in** button at the top of the log in page

Fill in the log in form.

Once logged in, you'll be taken to the aCheck Home page
